Ani Lorak's Balinese Chic
Ukrainian singer, Honored Artist, winner of numerous Golden Gramophones and platinum discs, Ani Lorak spent her winter holidays on the island of Bali. Together with her husband Murat and her one-and-a-half-year-old daughter Sofia, she discovered the world of Indonesian exoticism, but most importantly — found the perfect balance of vacationing with a small child.
Interview
— Ani, why did the choice fall on Bali?
— The year was very eventful, and we wanted warmth and palm trees. Our daughter was with us, so it was important that the conditions were comfortable for the little one. We were recommended the Club Friends, and the consultants were highly praised. And we didn't regret it.
— How was your vacation?
— It was an unforgettable vacation! A couple of days of downpours didn't spoil the impression; afterwards, we swam in the ocean and sunbathed. Our consultant Yuri introduced us to Balinese culture and local cuisine. We visited the Bird and Reptile Park and the Monkey Forest — Sofia was delighted by the parrots that perched on her shoulders and the little monkeys. The Elephant Park stood out the most: riding them turned out to be not scary at all, but a lot of fun.
— Which of the sights impressed you professionally?
— Tanah Lot Temple on a rock in the middle of the ocean is an incredible sight! The emerald rice fields look like works of art. The island always hosts exotic rituals, and the locals are very hardworking and believe in the balance of good and evil. It's an amazing culture.
— This year marks the 20th anniversary of your creative career. What will you treat your fans to?
— We are preparing many surprises: anniversary concerts, a new album in the fall, and next year — a big tour through cities where I am loved and awaited. After all, I sing for the people!
