"White Eagle" over the ocean
Idol of millions, former lead singer of the band "White Eagle," winner of the Audience Choice Award at "Slavianski Bazaar-98" Alexander Yagya is a frequent guest at Alliance Club resorts. We met with the musician to talk about his career, inspiration, and why club service becomes true friendship.
Interview
"Alexander, what connects you to the Alliance club?"
— It's great friendship and a love of travel. It's a company you can rely on: pick any place on the map — and don't worry about a thing. I've already been with them to Spain, Tenerife, Montenegro, and Thailand.
— What is the main difference of this kind of vacation?
It's amazing that the vacation is completely tailored to you. There's always a consultant who listens to your wishes. I can call him at any time: to ask for advice on where to have dinner, how to exchange money, or what entertainment is available. Such attention allows you to enjoy your vacation to the fullest. We still keep in touch and are friends with our consultant from Thailand.
— Do such trips inspire creativity?
The most important thing is that the voice recovers, and the world begins to play with new colors. In the rhythm of Moscow, we become rough and irritated, so getting out into nature, to the ocean, is a vital necessity. And I would recommend Tenerife to all lovers of delicious cuisine, warmth, and shopping. I still perform in a suit I bought there.
"You conquered half the world, but remained a patriot?"
"I worked in Holland, in Africa, and saw many countries, but I couldn't stay away from my homeland for long. As they say, you want to see more countries, but not lose your own. It's a huge happiness to come back home, but I'm still drawn to distant roads. That's my weakness."
— Why did you decide to go solo from "White Eagle"?
It was a good springboard, the times of big concerts and broadcasts. But life must change. I'm glad that now people talk about me as a solo singer. Right now I'm working on a new album together with Konstantin Osenin and other star musicians. Time will tell, but I believe in this project.
— Are the rumors about your wedding true?
"It's too early to say, but if it happens, we'll celebrate in Thailand and get married in the Russian church in Pattaya, where I share a friendship with Father Oleg. And to the readers of 'Alliance,' I wish: take your loved ones, friends, and good music on the road. I hope it will be my songs — your spirits will lift!"
